Is a foundation needed for a utility room?
In fact, it’s not always necessary to install a substantial foundation for a portable cabin or construction trailer. If you’ll be using it for a short period of time, especially during the summer, a foundation isn’t necessary.
For short-term use, it’s sufficient to level the ground using a level. Cinder blocks, wooden beams, or bricks are suitable for this purpose. This type of foundation won’t last long, but it’s a good short-term solution. In this case, the foundation may occasionally shift due to soil subsidence, but you can easily correct this by simply raising the trailer.
