Large construction organizations usually oversee objects in different regions of the country, even the most remote. Difficulties are inevitable here when it is required to transfer the working personnel from one facility to another, because it is required to properly equip people with life and living. However, suitable housing in the immediate vicinity of the construction site can be found extremely rarely.
If large-scale construction is planned, when a large amount of work is to be completed, and the length of stay of workers at the facility will be six months or more, then temporary constructions are being built (or change houses are rented), where all the workers are settled.
Modern technologies in the manufacture of so-called block containers make it possible to build entire villages in a short time. However, this option is not always able to meet expectations, because it happens that the construction time is relatively small. Then it is simply unprofitable to spend a lot of time on the assembly of modular structures. The most optimal solution in such a situation is mobile buildings, which have recently become very popular for arranging the life of workers in remote areas and beyond.
What is this mobile building like? In fact, this is a familiar block container, a change house. Fits on the maneuverable chassis of a car trailer. Mounting to the chassis is done by welding. Additionally, the chassis is equipped with a brake system. A tow hitch is also a must-have option for mobile buildings. Spare wheel included. The advantage of the chassis design for mobile buildings is their adaptability to off-road conditions. To create greater stability and to prevent the building from slipping, the structure has four supports on the sides.
The basis of the mobile building is a metal frame made by welding. The frame is sheathed with sheet metal. The floor and ceiling inside are also made of steel and butt-welded together. Particular attention is paid to the overall strength of the mobile building. All elements of the connection are made taking into account high mechanical loads during operation. Especially the design is subject to stress during transportation. The metal surfaces of the mobile building are carefully painted, which increases its anti-corrosion properties. For better waterproofing, the roof and bottom are additionally treated with bituminous mastic.
Inside, the mobile building is finished with sheets of chipboard, MDF (usually laminated) or plastic panels. By agreement with the customer, the inner lining can be done with wooden lining. The floor is made of wood; linoleum spreads on it if desired. Standard beds include multiple beds and a kitchen table.
Such mobile cars are designed for use in the temperature range from + 35 to – 45 C. In order to reduce the thermal conductivity of the wall, the floor and ceiling inside are pre-insulated. As a heater, inexpensive materials, such as polystyrene foam or mineral wool, act as a heater. Heating is done using electric heaters.
Workers living in a mobile building can even be transported from one facility to another, being directly in them. The level of comfort in such trailers is actually not much worse than capital housing, especially if you maintain proper order inside.
The mobile building is equipped with a diluted wiring system. For domestic use, a water tank, a water heater, and a wash basin are supplied in the trailer. Even the bathroom is thought out in these trailers – a dry closet performs its function. In advanced mobile buildings, it is possible to install a shower cabin and air conditioning, security and fire alarms, metal doors and protective grilles on windows. All this allows us to ensure the proper safety of both the trailer itself and the safety of personal belongings of the working personnel.
